Jason Christenson was born in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Overland Park, Kansas at the age of three. He graduated from Blue Valley High school and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and then his medical degree from Rocky Vista University college of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado. Jason went into Family Medicine Residency Program at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in 2012 and was still unsure of what specialty he wanted to pursue so after completing his Internship year and becoming state licensed he elected to go into operational medicine instead of continuing the Residency. From 2013 until 2021 he provided primary care medicine to our active-duty Marines and Sailors. From 2021 until 2024 he completed a rural family medicine residency program at the University of Wisconsin. The ability to be the advocate for the patient, to provide them appropriate care and to impact their life as a physician has become the resonating philosophy that has driven him.
